Punjab University Distance Education Admission For 2025-2026
For the 2025-2026 academic session, the admission process at Punjab University Distance Education is open till 15th September 2025. Students can apply to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate programs from the CDOE mode of education at Punjab University. Registration fee for UG and PG programs is Rs 1100/- to be paid online. Eligible candidates can apply on the Punjab University official website. Applicants can “apply before” the last date of registration, 15th September 2025.
Punjab University Distance Education Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate Programs: To be eligible for the postgraduate program, students have to pass a three-year undergraduate degree with a minimum aggregate marks from any recognized university or institute. Minimum 45% aggregate marks required for the postgraduate program at Punjab University.
Undergraduate Programs: Interested candidates who want to pursue an undergraduate degree need to pass their higher education (12th) with 45% aggregate marks in the boards. Students from any faculty (science, arts, Commerce) can pursue UG and PG programs.
Flexibility in Eligibility Criteria: Punjab University provides 5% relaxation in aggregate score for reserved category (OBC, ST, SC) students. Through distance education, students can get admission without an entrance test. Students can appear for the admission process on their Merit.

Punjab University Distance Education Admission Process:-
Before filling the application form for the UG and PG programs, students have to read the prospectus carefully. Check your eligibility before applying for programs. Fill application form with the necessary documents.
Following the Steps for filing up online application form-
Step 1. Registration process- register on the Punjab University admission portal using your own email, Aadhar card, and phone number to create a login ID.
Step 2. Create DEB-ID- for new candidates, it is compulsory to create DEB-ID on the portal and ABC-ID with Aadhar card and mobile number.
Step 3. After the creation of DEB and ABC ID- Log in to https://cdoeadmissions.puexam.in/ to fill the application form.
Step 4. Submit the application form- Select programs after creation of the ABC-ID, and note the username and password. Fill in with details and upload the necessary documents of the applicant.
Step 5. Log in to the portal- Again, log in to the portal by using your username and password to pay the application form fee and registration fee online.
Step 6. Download- take out your application form and payment receipt for further processing.
*Note- students who want to pay their program fee and registration fee directly can pay at CDOE.
